Short Bio
Meagan Shipley is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Health and Kinesiology at Texas A&M University. She earned her PhD in Health Behavior, M.S. in Kinesiology, and a B.S. in Secondary Health and Physical Education from Indiana University-Bloomington. She currently teaches community and school health students in the Division of Health Education. Her research interests investigate the role of service learning projects on pre-service teachers' intercultural awareness and sensitivity. She has publications in peer-reviewed journals and has presented at state and national conferences. She is CHES certified and a professional member of ASHA, SOPHE, and ESG.
