Minjung Kim completed the Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Sport and Leisure Studies from Yonsei University, Seoul, Korea. She then moved to Tallahassee and received her PhD in the Sport Management doctoral program at the Florida State University in the summer of 2015.
Her research efforts endeavor to understand what sport organizations can do to ensure their stakeholders’ well-being. She has devoted her efforts to studying positive organizational behavior in sport, focusing on organizational success achieved through (1) sport employee growth. She has also interested in (2) sport consumer well-being and (3) sport business analytics, answering how sport consumers’ psychological, social, and physical well-being can be enhanced through various services that sport organizations provide. Her work has been published in leading journals in the field of sport management, including Journal of Sport Management, Sport Management Review, and European Sport Management Quarterly
