Learning Support Specialist I
Tiffany Lee is currently the Distance Learning Lead Instructor, Professional Development Coordinator, Project Manager for Class Sites, and Instructional Lead at Region 9 Education Service Center Adult Education and Literacy Department.

She's been with Region 9 ESC AEL since 2007. She started as a GED Math Instructor, ESL Instructor, & Citizenship Instructor, then in 2010 she moved to the Distance Learning Lead Instructor. Having the experienced as a literacy instructor helped her publish her article called, "Helpful Strategies for a U.S. Citizenship Class" in the 2012 Texas Adult & Family Literacy Quarterly. In 2017, she added Professional Development Coordinator to help provide support to new Adult Education Literacy Instructors and Instructional Aides. As Instructional Lead, she collaborated on Team GED & Team ESL Curriculum to integrate technology into the current AEL curriculum. And in 2012, she developed with a colleague the Tyson Foods Work Based curriculum. In 2013, she published her English for Housekeeping curriculum to be used for the ESL classroom located at a local hospital. In the past year, she has certified to be a Google Level 1 & Level 2 Educator and she's making a goal to complete her Nearpod Teacher Certification by the end of the year.

Recently, she's starting her 2nd year at the position of Learning Support Specialist I with the Texas AEL Distance Education Call Center @TCALL @TAMU where she provides technical assistance to Texas adult education and literacy students and educators. She answers questions about the current AEL approved distance learning curriculum, learning management systems, zoom, GED.COM, EdTech tools, and more.

Her current projects included providing opportunities to integrate technology into the classroom, updating the current ESL/GED curriculum, as well as, finding processes to support her instructors.
