Dr. Mohan Yang joined the Human Resource Development program at Texas A&M University as an assistant professor in 2024. He received his Ph.D. degree in Learning Design and Technology at Purdue University. Dr. Yang's research focuses on workforce preparation through training and development. Several research areas include integrating emerging technologies in training and education, leveraging instructional design for training effectiveness, examining transfer of training, online learning, and universal design for learning. Dr. Yang was the past president of the Division of Organizational Training and Performance of the Association for Educational Communications and Technology (AECT). He is currently the co-Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Applied Instructional Design (JAID).
