Nahed Abdelrahman Ph.D. Educational Administration at the Department of Educational Administration and Human Resources. Dr. Abdelrahman is the Assistant Director of Assessment and Evaluation and the Lead Coordinator of Preparing Academic Leaders Master's Program. She got her Master's in Public Affairs from Lyndon Baines Johnson School of Public Affairs in 2011. Her research interests center on education policy and principal preparation. She was selected as a Barbara Jackson Scholar from (2015-2017) and EAHR Graduate Student Achievement Award in 2016. She authored and co-authored several publications related to education policy such as Dominant trends in the evolution of k-12 education policy in the United States, Arab Spring and Teacher Professional Development in Egypt, Hybrid Learning: Perspectives of Higher Education Faculty, A Website Analysis of Mentoring Programs for Latina Faculty at the 25 Top-Ranked National Universities, Women and STEM: A Systematic Literature Review of Dissertation in Two Decades (1994-2014). She presented her research in prestigious conferences including but not limited to the American Educational Research Association (AERA), University Council for Educational Administration (UCEA), the National Council for Professors of Educational Administration (NCPEA), Research on Women and Education (RWE), The Universality of Global Education Issues Conference. She plays leadership roles in higher education as she serves as the president of Graduate Representative Advisory Board (GRAB), and the Chair of the Awards Committee of the Graduate and Professional Student Council (GPSC) at Texas A&M University, and a member in the Appeals Panel at TAMU. She currently serves as the Assistant Editor of the Mentoring and Tutoring Journal, Advancing Women in Leadership, Education Law and Policy Brief Journal, and Dual Language Research and Practice Journal.
