Dr. Chih-Pu Dai is an assistant professor of Learning Technologies and Performance Systems in the College of Education & Human Development at Texas A&M University.

Dr. Dai’s research agenda involves the design and development of innovative and inclusive advanced learning technologies as well as learning design solutions to support teaching, learning, and human development. His research interests and areas of expertise focus on Artificial Intelligence in Education, Extended Reality (XR), Game-Based Learning, and Simulation-Based Learning. His interdisciplinary work, spanning across Learning Technologies, Educational Psychology, and Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), has been published in leading journals and venues such as British Journal of Educational Technology, Computers & Education, Computers and Education: Artificial Intelligence, Educational Psychology Review, Educational Technology Research and Development, as well as the ACM CHI conference on Human Factors in Computing Systems.

Dr. Dai earned a Ph.D. degree in Instructional Systems and Learning Technologies in 2023 and a Graduate Certificate in Measurement and Statistics in 2022 from Florida State University.
