Dr. Fields’ work has been published in the Journal of Literacy Research, Journal for Adult and Adolescent Literacy, Cognition and Instruction, Research in the Teaching of English, Literacy Research: Theory, Method, and Practice, and Reading and Writing Quarterly.
She previously taught middle school English in Houston, TX and Boston, MA and served as a literacy tutor and coach.
