SHAUN HUTCHINS

Curriculum Vitae
Dr. Hutchins Ph.D. currently serves as a Clinical Associate Professor in the department of Teaching, Learning and Culture (TLAC) and as Interim Co-Director of the Texas A&M Education Research Center (ERC). He also currently serves as the President of the Southwest Educational Research Association (SERA). Dr. Hutchins has over 20 years of professional experience in research and evaluation shared across higher education, PK-12 public education, and the defense and space sector. His teaching, practice, and scholarship focus on research, evaluation, and continuous improvement in schools. Dr. Hutchins remains actively involved in grant funded projects within the university and with local school districts. As an Educational Research Methodologist, he teaches graduate level courses in educational research methods including quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methods; action research; program evaluation; and improvement science.
