Denise Woodard is an Instructional Assistant Professor for the Physical Education Activity Program, a program in the Department of Kinesiology and Sport Management. She teaches a variety of KINE 199 activity courses, KINE 120 – Science of Basic Health and Fitness, and KINE 223 – Introduction to the Science of Health and Fitness courses. The past three fall semesters, Ms. Woodard has also taught a Hullabaloo U First Year Experience and was part of the 2024 Hullabaloo U curriculum writing committee. Ms. Woodard has served on the steering committee for the Women’s Faculty Network, Honor Council, University Academic Appeals Council, and honored to be a Well Leader representative. She is the advisor for the Aggie Girl Scouts and the Texas A&M Running Club. Ms. Woodard has a steadfast commitment to A&M, the surrounding community, and the wellness of all.
