Khalil M. Dirani joined Texas A&M University in 2014 as Associate Professor bringing with him an immense amount of energy and focus on the mission and values of TAMU. He served as Educational Human Resource Development (EHRD) program leader for 8 years. He is currently a professor and Interim Department Head in the EAHR Department. Before coming to TAMU, Khalil was assistant and then associate professor of human resource development (HRD) in the Mary Frances Early College of Education at University of Georgia, Athens, which he joined after earning his PhD from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
Khalil serves in several leadership roles including Past-President of the Academy of Human Resource Development (AHRD), and Executive Board member for the University Counsel for Workforce and Human Resource Education (UCWHRE). In addition, he is a founding member of the AHRD Antiracism Committee, and of two interdisciplinary international networks (Network-to-Network Gulf of Mexico Network, and Soil-for-Society Network).
Khalil is an accomplished academic leader and HRD scholar whose research explores themes of learning organizations, leadership, and talent development in international contexts and interdisciplinary team collaborations.
