I currently manage a project advancing knowledge and understanding of Latina STEM students in Texas universities. I coordinate the design, execution, and management of the project called Broadening Participation in STEM: A Qualitative Analysis of Resilience Experiences and Strategies of Latina STEM Majors in Hispanic Serving Institutions. My goal is to continue in a career in higher education focused on understanding and guiding marginalized populations in STEM education and careers, while attempting to chip away at structures that marginalize them in the first place.
