Jin Woo Ahn
Assistant Professor
Dr. Jin Woo Ahn earned his B.A. in Economics from Indiana University–Bloomington, his M.S. in Sport Management from Seoul National University in South Korea, and his Ph.D. in Sport Management from the University of Florida. Prior to joining Texas A&M University, Dr. Ahn worked as a consumer behavior analyst at the University of Florida’s Sports Marketing Research Lab and served for three years as an assistant professor in the Sport Management program at Utah Tech University.

Dr. Ahn’s research applies behavioral economics theories to examine deviations from traditional economic predictions in sport consumer behavior, with a focus on two primary areas: (1) consumer decision-making and attribution, and (2) spectatorship in advanced technology. His work has been published in leading academic journals, including the Journal of Sport Management, European Sport Management Quarterly, and Sport Marketing Quarterly.
