BIOGRAPHY
My passion is building adolescents' literacy skills and identities in order to help them navigate the reading and writing practices of the academic disciplines and their world. I am dedicated to teaching teachers how to use literacy in the service of teaching their content area. I believe that literacy is a powerful tool for all teachers in the service of social justice education.
