Ryan Cano '12 is a graphic designer with a decade of experience developing creative work in higher education. His career began as a student worker at Texas A&M University in the GLBT Resource Center and Offices of the Dean of Student Life. Following his graduation, he continued his work for the university in the Department of Multicultural Services. In 2015, he then moved on to the University of California, Berkeley, as a designer under Student Affairs Communications. Eventually, he returned home to San Antonio, Texas, working as a freelance designer for various universities, small shops, and to support his family business. He has also won two contests for Fiesta Medal designs with the San Antonio Spurs.

In 2021, Ryan made a return to the Texas A&M University System by becoming part of the Marketing and Communications team at Texas A&M-San Antonio. Currently, he has made the move back to Aggieland, joining the School of Education & Human Development in the spring of 2023 as a Senior Graphic Designer.
