SUZANNA RAMOS

Suzanna is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Educational Psychology at Texas A&M University. Previously, she was an educational leader in Singapore, and served as head of department for humanities, vice-principal, and professional development officer at the Ministry of Education. Her research interests include the scholarship of teaching and learning, creativity in the classroom, and giftedness. Suzanna coordinates the online Master’s in Education program in Research, Measurement, and Statistics. She also mentors graduate students in a teaching apprenticeship program to prepare them for careers in higher education. She is an active board member of the American Creativity Association.

Expected outcomes of the research project are to collect data, disseminate findings, and share experiences with leveraging advanced e-learning tools using Articulate 360 AI through the scholarship of teaching and learning. This project can serve as a model for other courses within CEHD and beyond, paving the way for further grant funding and adoption of advanced e-learning tools. It highlights the potential of innovative technologies to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes in asynchronous online education.

Expected outcomes of the research project are to collect data, disseminate findings, and share experiences with Equitable Learning Kits through the scholarship of teaching and learning. This project can then be used as an interdisciplinary blueprint for other SEHD distance educators to secure grant funding through agencies directly related to their content areas for the curation of Equitable Learning Kits in their own courses.
